"Traces within my body find a way into the canvas building a foundation for their own transformation. A conversation between past experience, a new medium, and my body that continues reacting intuitively to what is forming before me" This work emerged at a time in my creative process where I just needed a bridge, one that would connect an intense year of choreographic process with new fine art work. These works brought me back to the foundations of my practice, and gave me a fresh perspective into the future. 

Reborn From Traces 1, 2, and 3 were acquired by the City of Vacaville as part of their Public Art Collection the past summer 2023. The Arts Advisory Committee unveiled the works in a public event the past September 21, 2023; and they are now installed at The Ulatis Community Center. 

I decided to create a series of limited edition commemorative posters to pay homage to the day of the unveiling, as it marked an important moment in my career into public art. Additionally as my work constantly looks to highlight and expose the struggles of the immigrant community, this moment became important to my people and the entire immigrant community. As a Venezuelan-american, my contribution to art will now be forever catalogued in the official records of the City of Vacaville, bringing hope to many more immigrant artists like me.
